earlymb
Hi all, I was given this cooker a few years ago. It looks like the British WW2 model cooker, but can anyone confirm that? It has been painted over, but it seems to be complete. I can't find any military- or date mark, although some sort of dataplate is under the pain. REME 245
The earliest examples of this type had removeable petrol tanks rather than pull out ones as shown here. The model shown were manufatured from late 1944/1945.
earlymb
Thanks for the replies! So it is in fact military issue? It looks to be in great condition, but I need to replace the rubber/leather washers. Are those the standard size, easy to find?
