West Wilts MVT with the help of the National Trust, are holding Lacock at War on the 18th & 19th of August in the historic village of Lacock (SN15 2LQ) less than a mile away from General Pattons wartime H.Q. at Lackham House. We have been granted a flypast by the BBMF Spitfire & Hurricane on Saturday 18th, AND the Lancaster on Sunday 19th. 1940s singer Madeline Brown will be performing both days and in the Red Lion pub on Saturday evening. The Red Lion is next to the show field and will be providing a Hog Roast & Barbecue on both days, they are also hosting a Beer & Cider festival in the Show field. 1940s dress encouraged.

Hi John

I'm not 100% sure on our movements for that weekend yet but, all being well, would you have room for a 1944 BSA M20 plus a family decked-out in 40's gear?

Ps we're not all travelling on the BSA!

Of course we can fit your bike and family in, you will need an entry pass to park for free in the National Trust car park. Please contact me if you are coming and we will arrange one for you.

Regards

John
