introduction Newbie

Hello from a newbie.Although my main interest is militaria I joined because I love to see military vehicles restored, particularly WWII ones, and, well, particularly German ones. I was a reenactor for about 18 years so have had the privilege of 'playing' with a few vehicles in the field and appreciate all the effort that goes into them, especially as we had several trucks in the reenactment unit. My own experience of military vehicles stems from TA signals service in the 70s where the vehicles were from the 50s. Blimey, I feel older than before I wrote that.

Thank you for your warm greetings. The forum seems to be remarkably argument free (unlike the reenactment ones) and everyone is happy to help each other without scoring points, taking simple requests out of context and looking for 'hidden agendas' in a simple statement/request/opinion.
