introduction Hi from suffolk

Ive just purchased a Uaz 452. Taken a while to find a vehicle i can drive on my baby car licence, that i like and can be useful. Got a few friends who have gaz 66's.

 

I need to get it road legal, and im on a time scale to get it down to war and peace, hopefully

 

Its an ambulance version, need some work to get it running well, rebuild the fuel system and check over the electrics.

I've always fancied having one of these vehicles ever since I saw one on the Long Way Round with Ewan Mcgregor and Charlie Boorman. Beats trundling around in a transit van

There is a large number of military vehicles in felixstowe for such a small town, think mine has taken it to 4 russian, plus other US, english and german trucks.

 

For some strange reason, my neighbours dont mind having 2 Russian trucks in the street!
