Scammell Pioneer - Gardner Engine

Recommended Posts

Just removed cylinder heads off Gardner LW Engine.Piston no 4 ( from front of engine ) looks awfully wet compared to the rest of them.Is this due to a faulty injector, piston rings or just unburnt fuel on the last stroke before stopping.See attached photos.Left hand piston in the picture,Right hand valves in the head.

Any advice would be appreciated.
