Steve110
Hi everyone! I've just joined and would like to say hello! I've got a Land Rover 110, ex MOD, but civilian spec. I started my restoring and showing with Land Rovers about 15 years ago, have moved onto fire engines, and lorries, and have gone full circle back to good old Landies!! Its great to have a vehicle I can get parts for easily, and it fits on my driveway so I don't have to pay storage costs, and is relatively economical. Steve110
Well, thank you for the wlecome! I've never owned a lightweight before- I did look at buying one a long time ago, and I also used to visit the Lightweight centre when it still existed. My ultimate Land Rover would be a FC 101, but the prices are a little high for my liking at the moment! I did own a very nice tax exempt Bedford MK 4 tonner a few years ago- but I was in the process of moving back to the UK from France and couldn't afford the transport to get it back here so it was sold- oh how I'd love another one- I used to work on them while serving as an MT mechanic in the RAF. I'd use any excuse to take one for a drive! sadly, all the series 3's, and lightweights and 101's had gone by the time I served. But, we did have some nice 110's, 130's, TACR 2's, and Discoverys to play with! And, here are some photos of my 110. I still have lots to do, but the main thing is that its on the road and ready to use. Regards Steve
