Jessie The Jeep
Here's a bit of a change from the usual giant R/C stuff I do. A 1/72 scale B-17 built as an airframe stripped for spares, built for an online competition. The basic kit is the Airfix rebox of the Academy kit, bought for £5.00 from Ebay. I did a fair amount of scratch building inside both the fuselage and wings. It's not perfect, but I'm pretty pleased with the look of the model. I think this is the first time that the more bits I've cut off, the closer the model was to completion!

M.Rimmer
I like that Steve! how long did it take? Matt.
Jessie The Jeep
I'm not sure how long in actual hours, but I've been working on it off and on since January. Things like the wing spars and fuselage stringers and formers took several hours. Painting was about two full days.
