chevpol Posted June 20, 2011 Posted June 20, 2011 Ok folks, in an ongoing quest to decently show my uniform/weapon/kit display, and after the rather windy event at Stafford, I have come up with this idea to display uniforms, my dads old market stall. What you think? Uniforms will range from "Suits Aircrew (unissued, not in piccy, still at dads) to Soldier 2000, via desert and Best Blue. Only one weapons board, but will have 303", SLR, and SA80 Mark Quote
blue red blue Posted June 20, 2011 Posted June 20, 2011 how wind proof will it be?, might need some kind of 12x12 storm lashings ? Quote

Perhaps a change of colour backdrop as camo on camo is a bit had to see and does not emphasise the jackets, also will you be having a little label on each for MoPs identification i.e. Jacket 1950-70 issue. 100 % improvement. Regards Paul Ps leave out the washing line it does not go with the display. Quote
blue red blue Posted June 20, 2011 Posted June 20, 2011 dont know about displaying it in you back garden, dont think you will get many visitors, and the tracked wagons will play havoc with your flower beds:-) Quote

Mark Was thinking of taking the washing line, but as I am not displaying a mobile bath unit, I think I will leavi it at home!!! Edited June 20, 2011 by chevpol Quote
