kevanf1
Hi everybody. My name is Kevan and as part of my credentials for joining this forum I own a 1967 Marshall bodied Land Rover field ambulance. I live in Cheslyn Hay in Staffordshire and am unable to work due to various disabilities. My Landy is currently off the road and has been for nearly two years now. This is despite me buying it with a nearly full MOT My disabilities prevented me doing the things that needed doing such as sorting out the brakes (how it passed and MOt only a week or two earlier before I bought it with brakes that slewed the vehicle into oncoming traffic I don't know... but still. I'm currently doing little chassis repairs (it's a Land Rover) as and when I can and making the vehicle more usable for myself as I go along. I'll eventually fit stuff like power steering and Discovery seats. This will upset some people but I don't intend on getting the vehicle back to its service days glory. There has been far too much taken out already in the years after it was demobbed to do that. So, I'll concentrate on getting the vehicle as comfortable for me to drive as I can (it will be an occasional vehicle anyway).

kevanf1
Cheers everybody for warm welcome Pictures? I shall get some done asap. I have some that I did for a mate but they are ones showing the section of chassis that I am currently working on (as in welding up). I think I may have some front and side on shots too though. 'airporatable', Stafford? Hmm, isn't that the place just up the road from me I know where to come when I need some advice now then Take care all. kevanf1
I've popped some pictures of my ambulance up in the 'british vehicles/Land Rover' section. Look for new posts and they are there. I've included a picture of the latest work I am doing on it. Cheers. Kevan
