juddy
Can anybody tell me who made the snatch plugs that were fitted to land rover, and i take it other vehicles? I think it may have been classed as Mains Electrical Supply ( RAF ) and maybe it was made by crabtree, theres also a similar battery charger plug, i am also trying to find its maker too. I would also like info on a PGM Thorpe TYP 843 reversing lamp.
mike65
IS the piccy from your truck? Do you have pistures inside the connectors as may help? If so do you have some history? Engine imersion heater sounds like the sort of thing for plugging into the mains to stop the block freezing in cold climates. Our Canadian members may know something on this point. The charger is possibly related as cold can kill batteries. These documents provides interesting reading, although more modern but may help with the pronciples http://www.scribd.com/doc/9686765/Operation-Maintenance-of-Ordnance-in-Cold-Weather-FM-9207 http://www.dstan.mod.uk/standards/defstans/23/008/00000200.pdf Mike
