ajmac Posted February 21, 2011 Posted February 21, 2011 Does anyone have a parts source for the old (1930s - 1950s) 4 spd crash box that sat behind the Flathead V8 for many years? I am rebuilding mine at the moment and could do with some new layshaft thrust washers. I have a good supplier in the US for NOS parts, but wondered if there was a UK place to pop into. Quote
ford 369 Posted February 21, 2011 Posted February 21, 2011 try a google search for Reids rod parts or north american motor company, both hot rod parts suppliers who if they cannot help should be able to tell you who can, another possibility is collectors car parts ,based near heathrow ,there number is 0208 897 3774, Nigel Quote
NickAbbott Posted February 21, 2011 Posted February 21, 2011 Have you tried these people http://www.belcherengineering.com/ - I've had Ford Model AA parts from them before, and they say they do V8 stuff, so might be worth a try. Nick Quote
