Land Rover side opening rear door latch plate

Hi all, I have now got round to fitting the rear door today on my Land Rover, which I am converting from a truck cab to full hard top. I now need to know how the door latch works, and fixes to the bit on the edge of the rear body, a couple of pics would be great, the catch on the door is the old style not the crows foot type latch.

if you can post a pic of the bit you need to know about I will take a couple of pics this weekend of my rear door lock, or will take a pic of the parts diagram if that would help.

Sorry cant take a pic as there is nothing there !!! I have fitted a one piece side opening door to the rear of my SWB 88" Land Rover which has the handle on it but what I am after is the door catch which is fixed to the vehicle body on the side edge where the tailgate would have shut up to :undecided: which would hold the door shut.

32- shim 305232

 

These are from the S2 parts catalogue so the part numbers will prob not match up anymore, but gives you an idea. If you need owt else, please let me know.

Yup thats great, looks like I have most of the bits missing, so I need items 23, 29, 30, 31 and 32 any one out there got these bits they don't want ?
