question Lancaster Taxi Trip accomodation

Can anyone help with advice, please?

 

I am booked on a Lancaster Taxi Run on 13th April (my 60th Birthday). I now need accomodation near East Kirkby from Monday afternoon 11th April to Thursday Morning 14th April. Can anyone suggest a Good and preferably Cheap accomodation close to the East Kirkby airfield? I need accomodation for 2 adults, myself and Wife, with Breakfast and somewhere to eat for Dinner. Anyone been to East Kirkby already and recommend anywhere?

Try Owl Cottage, Royal Oak Lane, Aubourn, Lincoln, LN5 9DT, tel 01552 789139, they have a nice double en suite with a seperate entrance from the rest of the house, the local pub does excellent evening meals (booking advised), we stayed there in November for the Vintage Tractor Rally at Newark for three nights and recomend them

How about the Petwood Hotel near Woodhall Spa, 617 squadron's wartime officers mess with a bar dedicated to 617. Not sure about cheap but certainly good, you may be able to get a discounted rate.
