chevpol
you could try Paul Meakins, I seem to remember them having a pile of W&T last time I saw them, they do most of the MV shows, plus militaria shows as well Mark

John Pearson
The issue with the Loyd photo on the cover shows the one restored by Bob Grundy of this parish. He marked it as a vehicle from my father's unit as he was a Company Commander in 5th Battalion South Staffs. What I will share is that Bob used a standard Ford V8 fan but the engine is fitted at the rearin the Loyd, for its first cross country run at a very very dusty Bovy. As the fan used pulled air over the engine, in the Loyd it hoovered up the thick cloud of dust behind and shot it through the canvas cover and out of the front, completely covering the driver (Bob). From the outside, it looked like it was laying its own dirt track to drive on. After some minutes trying to turn the fan around, it was realised that the blades had to be cut off and rewelded but twisted the other way on the shaft which was done by the recently retired 'Chatty' in the workshop. mcspool
"After the Battle" (http://www.afterthebattle.com/) are (were) the publishers, but they don't seem to mention W&T on their site. That's a shame, W&T does not deserve to slip into obscurity. Anyone unfamiliar with W&T, you do not know what you are missing. Especially if they are offered for 0.50p or 1 quid, get all issues you can lay your hands on as they are worth their weight in gold! It seems the W&T contents list has also disappeared from their site, so I am copying it below as an easy reference: Issue 1 Canadian Chevrolet C8A - 4X2 Whites - Sinsheim - Four Generations of Bedfords - Keep 'em Rollin' - Maple leaf Jeeps - 12 Ton 8X* New VLTTs Issue 2 8-ton 8X8 T20 series - Water-Rovers - The Patton museum - polish 6X6 Stars - YPR-765 - Cook Bros.
