A good write up and some nice pictures as well. Seeing all the vehicles trundling along has bought 'that' smile back this morning!!!!!! Was it really over 8 weeks ago??!!!!!!!!

Ours is actually addressed to The cubed but I couldn't wait till he came home to see the pictures of A&E!!!!! He's going to be cross that I opened it mind you :blush:

Do you remember the ERM? Well I'm proposing a similar system for the next A&E, the date for A&E2 shall be directly linked to the progress of the Loyd Carrier. That way Jack will have plenty of time to organise it:-D

Just in from Kit - one of the DR's....

 

Yeah nice one Jack, great to be part of that weekend, a great weekend and so pleased to see the DR's again. I won't forget riding along side a tank, all the convoy work, just brilliant, blagging lifts with the US down to the bar, drinking beer in the tent late at night surrounded by such great re-enactors, with all the equipment, uniforms, vehicles, music and great company, just spot on.

You can't quite see my grin riding shotgun in the pic of the Rixon GMC, but you know it IS there!!! I think Richard is grinning, maybe I had managed to shut up by then!!! Great write up of a great day, great event, great memories. Do it again,you know you want to!!!
