Rover8FFR
Basically what can you or can't you tow on an A Frame set up. MOT's Taxed/ Not etc! Where can you or can't you use one. A roads, B roads, Motorways etc! What and where under what provisos???? Any clarity would be greatly appreciated. This topic is a mine field I believe??? 0 Rover8FFR
So in essence an unbraked A frame arrangement can be used in an emergency to transport a broken down vehicle to an area of safety! A braked A frame arrangement can go anywhere like a trailer as long as trailer board / number plate of towing vehicle displayed. Like we see on all the winebago's! The question is what would you call a relative distance to an area of safety, as in all the historic threads it varies between compliance and chancing your arm with the Sherriff! Thanks for evryones input, but it is quite simply a mine field and I guess if this ever happened then you would want to be on quiet roads towing with an emergency A frame??? Albeit Motorways in lane 1 would probably be less disruptive and safer maintaining a constant speed???? Mmmm....:???
