WC51 vs. WC62

I have a wc51, but is somehow attracted to the 6 wheel wc 62. Is bigger better?

Of course it's more expensive, takes more room and is harder to find. Buthow does it behave in cross country driving compared to the wc51? Is it better? It has another two driving wheels, but it's also heavier.

 

Anyone that'd like to comment this?

I found the 6x6 a little ...er numb... it made mine feel positively nippy (which was no bad thing ) :-X

Cross country, I'd stick with the 51. The 62 was only a stopgap anyway. The engine is overworked the length the turning orbit. The 51 is juss right.

Since no wc62/63 owners have made their voice heard I guess we can call out the wc51/52 as the winner!

I will stick to my 4 wheel Dodge! I thought that perhaps the 62/63 would offer a little more than just more room.

There's a couple for sale in Norway at the moment, but I won't be buying.

coming from someone who has owned a wc62 for the past four years........go try one you might just like it!!!!

loads of room in the back....no probs keeping up with 51/52`s etc......love it!!!!

I have had both 4x4's and 6x6's and the 6's win hands down in my mind

the 4's might turn tighter but the 6's are a mans machine
