rambo1969
I'm putting a 2.5 petrol in my 110. My understanding is that when land rover put the 2.5 petrol engine in the 90/110 they used an electric fuel pump in the fuel tank. I also understand that the camshaft on the 2.5 petrol and 2.5 n/a diesel is the same. I have tried a mechanical fuel pump from a 2.5n/a diesel on the 2.5 petrol and the lever on the fuel pump does not seem to engage on the cam of the petrol engine, and yet, in theory it should. Any ideas? cheers richard
andreadavide
I seem to remember that there is a distance piece and there are two different part numbers for these pumps. Anyway, especially if you are planning to LPG the vehicle I'd go for the electric pump. a Facet inline pump should be sufficient.
