You might need to contact someone like the MVT vehicle verification officer. It would need to be done from the chassis number.

AndyFowler
http://www.mvt.org.uk/index.html Heres the link mate ! Not sure if you need to be a member to use the service ! When I registered my Humber about seven years ago I just showed the DVLA a magazine article with all the facts and figures that they required ! Good luck ! :-D Edited December 8, 2009 by AndyFowler
Adrian
The MVT Verification chap is Terry Till. He was able to date my Diamond T from the chassis number. A local MVT official came out to view the vehicle and confirm the details which I had submitted and I received a letter within a fortnight confirming the date of manufacture. Hope this helps, A
LoggyDriver
Could you tell me how to do this as I dont know who thay are or where they may be contacted. Thanks Hello mate, As mentioned by AndyFowler, if you click on the link he put up then look on the right hand side of the page near the bottom it has "Vehicle Verification". Click on that and it tells you all about it. You don't need to be a member, but if your not the charge is £40. It's free to MVT members, so you might as well join the club (for £30 I think) and get it done for free. Glad to be of help.
