maxell
Opened in 1911, Shoreham Airport (civilian) was requisitioned by the Air Ministry in June 1940 for use as an advanced airfield in the Tangmere Sector. The airfield was defended by various pillboxes around its perimeter, and at least one Pickett-Hamilton Fort. Sorry images are not in any particular order.
