Jack
Hi guys. Has anyone any experience of the British Army Camp Bed are they good or bad? Cheers Jack.
sirhc
This one? They're ok, as long as you don't fall off when trying to get in/out out your sleeping bag. Chris
Mark
Hi Jack I like them, find them really comfortable (better than a bed roll) and don't forget when you do these shows after drinking copious amounts of beer, you aint worried where you sleep
Jack
Cheers gents. Would you say that they are better than the US cot?
Bodge Deep
I'm with Mark, I prefer them too. A lot less to go wrong (in a kind of 1am stumble drunk into them style !!) and I think more comfortable
stanpart57
We keep a Brit one at home for when the kids have friends round and we've had no complaints so far! In fact we wore out our original tan canvas one (its in the mending pile now) and replaced it last year at Beltring for a more recent example for a whole £5, not bad value. I would use it at shows but only have a bivvy tent so no room for the bed :!: Paul
john fox
I use mine instead of a tent by simply sleeping inside a gore text bivvi bag placed on top of the bed. Plenty of space inside a bag to change and saves all the hassle of putting up tents. The only thing i ahve against these is you may want to use one of the foam bedrolls as well because can get cold underneath otherwise
