Jeeps & Jets at NE Aircraft Museum 8/9th Aug

Returning for its forth year is the Jeeps & Jets event at the North East Aircraft Museum, next to the Nissan Car Factory off the A19 at Sunderland. There's loads of stuff booked in to display, so if you're in the area, do come along. You can even get to meet 'Bodge' and myself! ( Hmmm perhaps that might put people off :??? )

"The doors open at 10:00am with plenty shows and displays planned throughout the day including - vintage vehicles, motor bikes, mini tank models, a 1940's fashion show, emergency services display and Springer spaniel rescue dogs. Our main exhibit, the Avro Vulcan will be open for cockpit visits where visitors can see at close hand the restoration work being performed to date. Free car parking is available at the Nissan works and normal admission tariffs apply. Hot food, hot & cold beverages and snacks will all be available on-site."
