I have for sale an Army GS universal marquee. Not sure on length but there is three central long poles with numerous side poles and wall sections that are dated in the 50s and 80s plus the roof and pegs. It is sold as seen as i don't have the ability to put up and can deliver for a fee as access to where its stored is an issue. Please feel free to make an offer - everything sensible considered. Located in Surrey so delivery for around 50miles radius would be around £80 as need to locate a vehicle.... IMG_6788.HEIC IMG_6789.HEIC IMG_6790.HEIC IMG_6791.HEIC IMG_6792.HEIC

Hi everybody, I’ve joined the forum to get some help with our tent shown on the attached picture which we have used for a few private and public events. Unfortunately there are bits and pieces which are missing, broken as well as a few rips and thinning of the canvas and ropes. I came across a link to this website where someone had posted a few pages of a ‘book of tentage’ for tents such as these, hence me signing up to this forum. Does anybody know where we could get a full ‘book of tentage’ in order for us to make sure we have all of the parts and instructions to put up

Dear All Having now got a 9x9 tent and an arctic bell tent, my British Army 12x12 is now surplus to requirements (not least because it is too big to put up on my own safely). The tent originally came from the army surplus and paintball warehouse behind the Cowdray centre in Colchester and I seem to remember paying £450 for it. The kit comprises: 1) A full set of poles and joints - I think I have spares of each 2) Long bag for poles 3) Small bag for joints 4) Two end canvas pieces - lace up style 5) A rather threadbare roof canvas - we got wet at W&P last year when water p

Can anyone help me finding a larger British WWII tent? (f.e. A British Army 160 lb tent) Does anyone also know a way to repair canvas? Is there something like a merchant who does this? I did already fix it by sticking a piece of canvas several times but this thing is becomming a rags sieve. Is it a good idea to steam it to clean it? And finaly, is there a way (product, treatment) to make the canvas stronger again? Thanks a lot guys ...
