  2. Hmmmmm, I too am in the process of manufacturing new tracks for the Bren/universal carrier. Im looking at 3000 pounds a pair (bloody cheap!) but I need at lease 15 owners interested. The problem here is that im new to carrier ownership and not many people know ne in this industry. Anyone know Gary Howard in Kent ? he knows me very well, so we will see how things go. I offered NOS sprockets too, pretty poor response there again. :cry: Some people just need to pull there fingers out ! :yawn: otherwise it just wont happen..........

  7. I have 3 Universal carriers to start. Im selling one of them which is the most complete one to help fund the other 2. They are all British made 1941 Mortar carriers. Mark :nut:

  10. Mark now lives in California and I now live in New Zealand, and have great memories living in Chelmsford Essex. I have informed everyone I know about the jeep, hopefully someone will see something.. Mark.............

  14. Unfortunately, This is the way the UK is going. the jeep will more than likely be sold is parts on eBay. Very sorry to hear the news. As said, keep an eye on ebay for parts ! and notify the Police as soon as you can. Mark :-(

  17. don't suppose you have the pattern for the rear mortar carrier that holds the mortar on the back of the carrier ?:shocked: the brackets ?

  19. Can anyone identify the small box in the middle which sits on a thick steel plate ? Maybe out of a tank ? the other 3 are from a 1941 Bren carrier. Much help appreciated :-D

  22. Id love to know how you come up with that. Upon speaking to Nigel Watson of the carrier world, he tells me that he may know of 1 but can not confirm it. Can you send me pictures ? :undecided: M............
  23. Very nice restoration. I know of 5 shermans waiting for someone to collect them off the ranges, pretty complete too, together with 2 M10 TD's and a T34 ? Youll need a big Crane and low loader:D
