  1. Great news ! STILL waiting to organise the Bren Carrier track made in China :red: hopefully this year ? I now want a half track ! :-(
  2. Yeah, they deffo look like engine mounts. I got these with a load of Bren carrier parts and assumed they were carrier related. They have made in England stamp on the rubber. Carriers take a flathead ford V8 and don't look right. Maybe they are standard British ford truck engine mounts ??
  3. No Idea, altho does have white paint so could be any AFV ?
  4. Help needed to ID these rubber mounts. Came with lots of carrier parts. Been told possibly Radio mounts. Stamped "Made in England" on the back of some of them. Much help appreciated. :-)

I can however read the blog, but cant reply etc....... Very annoying And thanks for the info, I may have to buy the Ford rebuilding book.
  12. Im in need of info regarding rebuilding one on my flathead V8's. I recently purchased I partially restored Canadian Carrier V8 that has already been machined, Crank machined, new bearings, new rings, gaskets ect all in boxes. now in not exactly an engine guy, so if anyone could point me in the right direction on a helpful manual/book as I want to have this up and running by the end of the year  gearbox is already done. Some of you may know my position with my 3 Carriers, but id like to have one running by January at least ! Thinking ill post a resto update on the Carrier ??

  16. Again, came with a load of carrier parts, and probably and wrongly assumed it was a carrier part ? I cant find any numbers on it. Could it be an old ford truck battery tray ? :undecided:
  17. That's right Kevin, I posted this before I actually knew what it was. The Mk1 Canadian speedo has your name on it ! :cool2: I have placed another speedo with the British carrier I have for sale, and the other will go with the other British carrier for sale, as this is the correct speedo for these carriers, thanks for the information :-D very helpful.
