My name is Adam. Depending on the season, my hideaway place is NW corner of Poland or South Australia. Reaching a 'good vintage" age I bought myself a toy...a big army truck which wish to adapt into an expedition vehicle and go with whomever on board first from the west to the east across Russia, year later come back through the center of Asia and go south to Cape Town. Oh, and climb rocks on the way!
As the truck is a former military truck of a German make, I thought that may find amongst You some experienced users of such MAN KAT 1 8x8 trucks.
Am hoping for learning from Forum members about good and ...good only things about these trucks. Hope there is not too many bad things...I need an Operating & Maintenance manual! Anyone can help?
