Hi , I am currently wiring my trailer socket on my Chevrolet C60L 13 cab but now i have lost all the lights front and back has anyone got any ideas as to if there are fuses anywhere as i have looked at a manual on line and cannot find anything

Hi Pete , The top speed is not a problem as i run the Morris Commercial C8 so 40 mph is positively flying but it just seems to die a bit when you go from third to fourth, On the spark plugs you and Phil seem to be singing from the same hymn sheet I think the biggest thing to get your head round is the centre throttle pedal , Paul

Hi Phil . Thanks for getting back to me , You seem to have a lot of experience of the CMP lorrys , What spark plugs did you run in the 216 engine , On the fuel issue i think i will add lead substitute to the fuel , Paul.

Hi Pete , Thanks for replying , I am running 11.00 on 20" rims on the rear and 10.50s on the front the engine is the original 216 would that make a big difference , Paul.

Hi Pete , It has got the 216 engine with the Carter Carb but the tyres i have on the back are 11.00 20s it should have 10.50s but i could not find any , Do you think that would make a lot of difference, Paul

Hi Everyone , I have recently purchased a 1945 c60l chev , I have not driven it very much yet but when i have driven it it seems to go well enough in first gear also in second gear third is not too bad but fourth gear seems to be too high , The lorry seems to struggle to achieve fourty miles per hour , I would like to hear from anyone else who owns one of these lorrys so i can compare the performance , I am currently the owner of the Chevrolet c60l and a 1944 Morris Commercial C8 GS and a replica of Montgomerys Office Caravan , Paul.

Hi all , I am looking for some track rods for my morris c8 1944 , I could also be in the market for other spares and would appreciate any help in locating parts for the Morris , I am located in Norfolk near Kings Lynn and generaly attend shows within a thirty to fourty mile radius of home , I also have the replica Montgomerys Caravan that i use as accomdation at the shows , I am building another version at the moment which will hopefully be even nearer the original, paul.

I am not too clever at this downloading but i think you will get the guist of the caravan , The base is a flat Ifor Williams 14 ft Then fixed around the bottom is a Bedford Army lorry buck 1" thick hardwood The top is then covered in alumimium followed by canvas ,

Hi All , I am new to posting on this site but i have read quite a lot of posts , I am currently looking for a new Head Gasket for my C8 , If anyone knows where i could get one it would be really helpful, I have recently built a replica of Montys Caravan to tow around to shows it also doubles as a caravan for me and the better half to sleep in , I will be at Raucby Military show in Lincolnshire this weekend coming the 23rd 24th and 25th so i might see some of you there ,
