  1. I do have a box full of these, take outs but in very good condition, cheers Andrew
  2. I see the Scammers are alive and well. The old saying goes, if it sounds too good to be true, it normally is. People that reply to an add, claiming they have what you are looking for and then cannot provide a picture, but try and bluff their way into getting you to send the money, and then they will get a postage cost......who's been caught with that one ! ? Especially when they are a member of this Forum, but show No postings or details in their profile. Just a reminder to be vigilant. Cheers Andrew.
  3. I take it this is what you look for? Cheers Andrew.
  4. I have about 12 or so mainly NOS CVRT straps ,etc, see pic, GBP150 for the lot , including freight to the UK, PM if interested , cheers Andrew.

  8. Looking for a NOS Dingo Speedo , if there is a spare out there, PM me , Thanks Andrew.
  9. Valentine dash with smoke gen. push buttons, incorporated into dash panel.
  10. The Valentine had smoke generators, but not with this bracket.
  11. My point exactly......so what armoured vehicle? The bracket was taken off a vehicle from a pool of the most likely Canidates from: Valentine ( ruled out ) , Matilda, Covenanter, Big Daimler Mk2 with 2pdr - is it from this?
  12. I see you said RAF vehicle, so did something like a Layland Hippo have a smoke discharger on the back?
  13. Hi Richard, I know the smoke screen button is airforce, AM manufacture, these were used in Tanks. Bracket is inscribed with Convoy light. Did Planes have Convoy Lights? The wording Convoy is covered up by the switch. The actual switch with the tag was one I found that fitted the holes, so not really sure that this is the proper switch for the bracket?.
  14. Just trying to figure out what vehicle this unit is off. There is a smoke screen switch, and and ON/OFF , left and right movement switch for a Convoy light. Where the smoke button goes is marked Right for that side, so must be another similar bracket for the left side one I found a Butlers switch that fitted the holes perfect, and had the correct right and left hand switch movement. I take it a smoke screen would only be for a Tank? , Not Valentine , throwing it out there...maybe Matilda or Covenanter? Has anyone seen something similar ?, Cheers Andrew.
  15. Wanted : 2 pdr Striker Assembly, PM if you have something, Thanks Andrew.

  18. Hi, I am looking for a few 1&1/4" and some 1" malleable cast steel BS conduit fittings in Tee's and 90 degree elbows. These are "Old School" fittings that have pretty much disappeared these days , for a Tank restoration If you can help please PM me, Cheers Andrew.
  19. Oh yes, I was thinking of the Petrol J60 combination, Cheers Andrew
  20. When you say the back of the engine slightly higher to stop premature failure of driveshaft , was this on the early model ones that actually used a short solid driveshaft?, ( This is to preload the UV crosses ? ) This early coupling was replaced by the later rubber donut , so I would hazard a guess, that this ( Donut Coupling ) should be mounted parallel in all directions and plains, just like our rubber inserted Bren carrier gearbox to diff joints , other wise you DO get premature failure of the rubber components because of any misalignment , cheers Andrew.
  21. Hi, I am looking for a Bottom mounted 8" headlight, with the Simms badge on the top, The shape looks very similar to the 8" CAV headlights of English carriers / Loyds , etc. PM if you think you can help, Cheers Andrew.
  22. Leather coupling dust shield between gearbox and diff, NOS in good condition available , PM me , cheers Andrew.
  23. 47A-41 Switch available , NOS, also some Morris Commercial speedo cables , NOS, PM me , cheers Andrew
