Do you still take your Albion out to shows or is it on permanent display at Duxford. Ive only every seen 3 mine my fathers and one other that was in a sorry state.

Just to say I used speedycables got a new cable made up at a reasonable price and a good turn around time. Recommended.

I know its a long shot I was just wondering if any one out there knew what happened to the scammell Pioneer that belonged to Swain & Jones of Farnham Surrey. They were a Leyland dealership and they used the Scammell as there recovery lorry. I used to walk past it on my way to school when I was a kid. I'd like to think it was still about some where. Thanks for the idears, I like the militant wheel lift it's a clever bit of kit I may have a go at making one or if any one knows of one for sale please email but as stated in a previous post they are rare. Please if any one has any other idears I'd 've interested. Thanks

Long shot I know but any one no where the Gearbox number is stamped on a GBA226 Albion gearbox I've looked every were, same on the diffs and axles no numbers . Could it be because it is an ex military vehicle?

I think you have done more than most people would have done and reading the government website I think you are more than justified in taking it, but I would keep trying to find out who the owner was and if he decided to clam it he would still have cover any cost you incurred.

Hi can any one tell me if there are any British made trailer legs ( Landing Legs ) I'm sure there must have been in the past I've looked on the net but only found the usual new Joist ones. Any ideas thanks
