  1. Nice. I have a couple with the clip fastening. The stud fastening one looks good. Never seen one of those before. There seems to have been a few versions of these.
  2. Sorry, yes just looked back at the pics RAF one ready posted.
  3. Very nice example. If anyone has a RAF one it would be good to see. The black leather one - I am sure I saw Ronnie Barker in one of those in Going Straight..........
  4. Thank you all. I could of got the trousers but I did not for some reason? (Lack of space)!? It is interesting, I have read reports that state post 82 RN clothing was to be less synthetic. Maybe just MOD PR? I have a cotton WD shirt from 70's but 80's/90's one is poly cotton?!
  5. Can anyone help please. RAF or RN? (Think RAF) but not 100% Like the NI Army issue Green but with mad padded lined hood and in blue colour. Thanks.
  6. I have a few of these and think that they were used by 'them' in the 50's/60's before twin armalite pouches were issued. Anyone with any thoughts or information? Many Thanks.
  7. Thank you Gary. I actually have the khaki cotton type too and thought it was army. Just need to get my hands on a blue/grey cap for my post war RAF bits and bobs. Went up to Hendon today, I have not been for years. Very nice day out it was too. Cheers.
  8. Hello. Can anyone help ID this badge and if it is of the right period for this jacket please. Thank You.
  9. Thank you for the info. Silvermans are about to have a clear out of their warehouse soon. I will check with them regarding the MK2 58. Cheers.
  10. Hello. Not cheesy, it is nice to know that there are other smock and kit obsessives out there! I am going to hang on to it for a bit, but if I start selling stuff I will put the word out rather than sticking it straight on EBay. SBS Canoeist Smock will be the tricky one! All the Best.
  11. overseas contract. The webbing colour looks lighter than 58? Not sure. Just a wild guess.
  12. No not ebay this set. I have had this for a while. The poncho roll was the last bit to come. Just looking for a belt and water bottle pouch. Thanks.
  13. My mistake! I see that they are both angled R and L pouches.
  14. Angled and straight fixings on the ammo pouches too. I thought that they would have just trailed one style?
  15. Yes the water bottle pouch is a civvy type that I put together with the set. That pic from the trials is very good to see, thank you. I will look out for another poncho roll.
  16. Thank You Sir. I know what you mean I had to have a good rummage. I felt the more obscure the better. Eventually the only way to go will be trials stuff and different labels/makers. Proper train spotter stuff! I am an anorak into anoraks!
  17. Up in the sky, Down on the ground, all good to me. I appreciate the info, thank you. I have a couple of others that I will dig out a post. Shorter and with wool lining. All the Best
  18. There is no date or size. I know these to be early fifties. I have heard that they were issued during Korea. I have once seen one in RAF blue but was not able to purchase it.
  19. Matching labels. Jacket and Pants what more can I say?
  20. That is a big vase in the first photo not a little cap on a pint glass. The scale made me chuckle when I took it.
  21. Mint Parka Pants are washed out but nice to find. I wore this when it was cold this year and nearly passed out on the train, I had to take it off and put it on the overhead luggage rack.
  22. Label in jacket has been taken out. Stores tag is dated 1965. Need a cap to go with this.
  23. Mint and with part of a paper tag sewn in. Anyone with any info?
