  1. I will take please. Message me your payment details please mate. Cheers
  2. Brilliant job guys, it amazes me the ingenuity sometimes of just making the patterns, never mind the build itself! Always look forward to my 'Thorny Fix', as I'm sure everyone else does. I've followed this from day one and like a good book, can't put it down. Well done gents.
  3. Looks like it's going to be a good one too mate with the amount of chatter going on. Got few 'friends' from Essex trying to make it too. Ah, yes, sunshine . . . .would be beneficial to the weekend. :-D
  4. Well worth it just for your FREE BBQ on Friday night!!! Really looking forward to this year as missed last one (and the rain!!) Good to see you on Sunday mate, been a long time.
  5. I'm still looking for rear canvas and pads if any going.
  6. Or levelled and now a multi story car park!!
  7. Just an add on, I'm also after a worn / used rear set of canvas and pads if any about. Paul
  8. There were a load of ex police ones released last year I think. Think they different to military spec ones.
  9. Also try the carrier guys and forums, the axle is the same, but better ratio. If I remember it's good for an extra 12 mph
  10. A very common and cheap vehicle. Very trendy too, it was the swinging sixties after all. Also used Mokes in the Prisoner series from then.
  11. It's a good basic site, I camp there every year, fed once a day, hottish showers, toilet blocks and beer tent. No power hook up tho. Yes they allow you to park your modern vehicle on the side grass verges, which mainly taken up with trailers and tow vehicles. The other one is the Bilderburg camp site just over the road. That's got the lot Inc hook up, clothes washing and drying. The Battle Wheels site doesn't open until the Wednesday afternoon and even then that's still setting up. Are you a 're enactors? The race to the bridge on the Saturday is a great experience, but hard work on a bike! Ginkel Heath on Saturday morning is good too, the vehicles and parachute jump. There's normally a drop over the water at Driel on Friday too. Lots to do and see, great atmosphere about, loads of 're enactors. If I can be of any help just ask. I love the place.
  12. Needs to be a braked unit if the vehicle being towed is over 750kg. The towed vehicle is then classed as a trailer. Get to a good engineering firm and get one made for what you would pay for an unbraked one. The unbraked ones are cheap now, even the AA got rid of theirs because of this I heard. Don't forget a loaded jeep with camping gear in etc can weigh up to 2 ton. The safest route is a trailer. I've A framed a jeep from North West uk to Arnhem without a problem. You need to check your steering straightens up after a turn and IT WILL scuff your front tyres!
  13. Try these guys, suppliers and manufacturers of all seals, copper washers Use them in my hydraulics company, very helpful. FPS SEALS 01634 724394 The opposite side of the country for you tho. Or look for a local seal manufacturer,
  14. Try Commander on here, he had one for sale while ago.
  15. Exactly what's been said above. I display a lot of weapons and ordinance at shows and all are to be treated as live weapons. Safety on when on display Drop the magazine and check chamber if letting someone look at it. Never point or let it be pointed at anyone. Locked and chained away when not on show (overnight displays) I like to strip and clean mine at shows too, perfect opportunity to do it, looks like you know your weapon and respect it, PLUS the public like to see you doing stuff (sewing, cleaning, washing, eating, brew up etc) :nut: The same as in public Wrapped and covered up. First things packed away, last things put out on display.
  16. If your on facebook? Got a good mate that collects, repairs and reconditions stoves and cookers. Great source of parts and info
  17. Chris, these are the lowest form of oxygen thieves. That's your livelihood and hobby we know. You need to earn a living to pay for THEIR benefits!! I remember you had the pistols go at Malvern too.
  18. You on Facebook at all mate?? Good friend, whose an engineer and machinist, does the conversation kits for the airsoft GPMG's. Look very good, even close up
  19. A VERY well used K98 cleaning kit, but not complete. Missing the disassembly tool and the bore chain. Knife doesn't look military, could be equestrian or private purchase. Weaknesses, is what it is and already described. No idea on switches, any numbers on reverse etc?
  20. Bit of time travelling going on I think!! Maybe the Philadelphia Experiment was real after all???:nut:
  21. If you still need it I've a contact in there, mainly aeronautical but deals with vehicle workshops too
  22. Number 7 every time, whether it's a full weekend or a one day show. Obviously the size and quantity of display depends on show duration. It takes me a whole day to set up EVERYTHING and a day to pack away. I tend to do local shows for the full display but smaller ones if further. I tow my jeep normally behind the van if full display as all kit in van, otherwise tow it behind Land Rover with camping gear and small display in back.
  23. The small pistol blasters in first couple films are based on Broomhandle Mausers apparently
