  4. Hi wally was my Diamond T in the Beverly Military Transport Museum or was it in the National Army Museum before it went to Shildon Museum of Transport In one of the replies to my introduction post, i was told it was damaged during active service. have you any onformation regarging its accident. The chassis plate says it had s repair 3/58 ref b296. is this due to a Rolls Royce engine being fitted after its Hercules engine had been removed thank you cliff goldsmith

  6. Hi Wally. I too am a new user to the forum I have recently purchased the Diamond T 980 23YZ80 chassis no. 9800686 you hadin your museum. I know nothing about it at all, only that you had it from 1980 - 2003, then itwent to Shildon museum of transport. If you have any more knowledge or information on the truck I would be very gratefulto hear or read about it thank you cliff goldsmith
  7. hi there Just to let you know where im from, im from near boston in lincolnshire on the east coast. i will be able to give you more information on the DT (engine & chassis numbers) on saturday when i get it home i will also be able to post some better pictures thank you cliff goldsmith
  8. the truck has been purchaced from a persom who bought numerous vehicles from the transport musem. the shildon museum of transport has now closed down and all stock sold due to the falling number of visitors over the past years, yet the enterance fee was only £2 per person. the museum was also a registered charity. this just goes to show how the ressesion has hit days out for thoes even on a tight budget thanks cliff goldsmith
  9. thanks for the info on the truck, but can i ask what a 1033 transfer is, and what is the difference between the two bumpers. after 2003 the truck was then moved to the shildon museum of transport until about 5 or 6 weeks ago any more information is most welcomed thank you cliff goldsmith
  10. Hi Adrian. thanks for the information on what type the truck is. As far as im aware, the Diamond T is in an origional and un-molested condition and in very good order with a rolls royce diesel engine fitted thanks cliff goldsmith
