  2. Dose anyone know where i can get some 24V rear jeep lights from as no one seems to have any. I have tried Tony Sudds and Jeepparts etc. If i cant get any will have to take the units to bits and replace the bulbs i guess. Cheers Tony
  3. Original they had steel tracks banded like a HT, NOS tracks do no exist for weasels so you have a couple of options. Convert to rubber tracks as we done which means changing front rear sprockets and boogies, these are from Jeep parts NL. Or There is a company in the states called caroltech they have reproduced an kind of replica of an original track design to run on the standard running gear. Tony

  5. Yes is a very good truck my friend bought it the other month and we drove it back from other side of london took us over 7 hours but went a dream and never missed a beat. A yes has a great wooden wheel, which he is not looking will swap with mine lol. Tony

  8. Know what you mean i have always wanted an M5 stuart but now they are way out of my price range. One cam up for sale yesterday £162,000 who can spend that kind of cash. Even thought of selling my house and living in a caravan!!! For prices like that there has to be lots of people with lots of cash, and then of course people see it as an investment, but is it at those kind of prices who can afford one.

  11. The battery between the front seats is an original field mod for radio jeeps my ford is the same, it should have a steal boxed cover over it. I have the original field mod document if you are interested Tony

  15. Just and update from Normandy 44 Re-enactment Group, we had a collection over the weekend at our Christmas party and have raised another £250 for the good cause. Thanks to all who contributed and sorry i was not there. Tony

  17. Well just made it back home after setting off at 4 this morning 7 hour drive back which i thought was very good 230 miles and half a tank a fuel. GMC ran mint and what a truck it was in very good condition and paul the guy he bought it off was also very nice guy. So all in all a good day out Will try and post some photos of it Tony

  19. Hi guys A mate of mine has asked me to go with him tomorrow to Surrey with him to look at GMC for sale in mind of buying it. Then we need to drive it home from Surrey to Doncaster. So if anyone see,s a Jimmy North bound it will most likely be us so give us a pip to help us on our way. I think its going to be a very long day, but good fun as always.   23. Was looking at these a few months ago before they arrived in the UK and they were 30-35 price but they will be more now they are here. Tony
  24. Ahh WD 40 good idea i have known people use oil and all sorts, i use Wax Oil great stuff keeps the rain off and water proof. keeps scuffs and scratchs down to a min and put a new coat on with a cloth and it looks like new paint.
