I'm guessing there is not as much interest in the more modern stuff as the older stuff but a Nepolionic war wooden trailer isn't much use to me so as per my previous thread I've bought this
I got it home yesterday no problem and today stripped it down to check it over and replaced all the 24v bulbs with 12v.
I've no idea as to it's military use but it has a odd looking frame on the front and clearly something was bolted behind, in the load area were 3 retaining bars and a earth point so something electronic was in it, a couple of 2" holes may have been drains or exhaust? as far as I know it was built in 1995 for BAE systems and has been in reserve stock since then?
The reason for buying this was I wanted a trailer that could be used as a flat bed or high side or with just the sticks for a ladder rack, as you can see the options are pretty good.
To reduce the weight I've removed the lifting points (the rear lifting points slid out from the chassis on solid steel bars) and that has shifted a lot of Kg's, I will probably remove the front drop down legs as well as they are not needed.
Hitched to the 110 Landy it tows very nice and doesn't look too out of place
Not too much needed to do to the trailer now, a little bit of rust to clean up but nothing to drastic.
If anyone has any info on this trailer it would be most welcome.
Cheers
