1. Looks good, I have some FFR stuff in my shed including a recon FFR Alternator and some cabling etc.
2. This is a terrible thing to happen to an owner who has poured his soul into the restoration, or to anyone for that matter. I have sent the theft details to my network in the UK, Europe and the USA, Has anyone put it on the Australian forums? I can't help but think this vehicle was stolen to order. The misc thefts of equipment were 'it there lets take that also'. This vehicle has a documented picture build. I would think that the thieves are members on this and other forums, so thay can case out what they're going to nick. Unfortunatly its not possible to police this forum to elimanate these MOD EDIT I hope it recovered quickly and its still complete.
3. whats the difference between series 1 split rims and series 2 split rims? Is there a difference?
4. For your enjoyment a pic of my ex gf, who is alo now one of my best mates, with my lee enfield, no.1 mk5.
5. There was a privatly owned Challenger 1 at Detling a few years ago, it was complete and restored. Owned by a chap from kent I believe, he told me his company supplied generators to the MOD and he found the chassis at one of the testing grounds and the turret elsewhere. I have a pic somewhere I will try and find it, I parked my hippo next to it!
6. Sadly my hippo is now for sale and is listed in the for sale section.
7. Just an FYI, I have put my 1944 Hippo 11B on the for sale thread. I also have a complete small set of the little wheels and tyres. a selecton of pictures taken in Normandy in 2009 and 2004. Mattadors and Diamond T's are large, but the Hippo dwarfs them all.
8.

Short Magazine Lee-Enfield Mk V 1922–1924 (trials only; 20,000 produced)

This is what mine is not a No.5. Its held on a section 1 fire arms licence., Mine is dated 1922.
9. Very informative, I actually have a smooth bored .410 SMLE MK5. Does it have any value as its quite rare, I have never seen another one.
