Could anyone shed some light on the plate above the drivers position on this wmik r ? I know its the revised roll cage on the vehicle but cant figure out what the plate is for . Only thing i can think of is for the for a crew member to stand on to get a higher position .But could be wrong as there exposed . Cheers for any information on this vehicle

I was just wondering if there's anyone around the north east area wanting a hand with any type of military vehicle In and around the Newcastle area . Im willing to help out and get my hands dirty. Skills our limited to painting and things of that nature . I know my way around land rovers and cvrt's . Don't quote me on this but it looks very similar to a 105 light gun breach . Its been 21 years since i used the light gun so not 100% . But hope someone comes up with the answer ..
