Showing my ignorance again here or, at least, lack of understanding of the laws. Does the covering up of a deac weapon apply to, say 30mm mg, fixed to a CVR (e.g. Ferret Mk2/3) turret or does it have to be removed whilst on public roads? This whole issue appears to be a minefield - albeit maybe a necessary one unfortunately.

Good idea Chris - could you give me your advice please on which manuals to get at this stage. I don't want to end up with a load of manuals I might not use. Ta

Why are classic MV exempt from MoTs whilst classic and veteren cars have to have an MoT - not complaining just curious - anyone know :?
