  1. I to have been looking everyday and haven`t send anything.i put a couple of bids in(heard nothing so quess i didn`t win) but would like to know what they went for.A lot of the stuff didn`t sell as it keeps popping up on there auction site.The next small tender sale is next week. Simon;)

Hi,we are coming over to New Zealand next February(2013) and i was wondering if anybody could recommend any good museums/shows,starting in the north island( mid feb) and them moving to the south were our friends live(Dunedin),Any idea`s would be greatly recieved as i will be limited to how many i can go to(as both my wife and her friend arenot really into it),but would be ok for me and her hubby to wander of occassionally.They live there so would need to give them some notice as they are planning the trips etc. Thanks in advance Simon:-)

Hi deos anybody know what happened to the East Anglia(east england) tank museum as they were relocating a couple of years ago but cannot find out if they have reopened yet and if so where.I had a play on the internet and found pictures of there old site abandoned,but nothing upto date we are visiting that area next week so was hoping to pop along and have a look.   5. They meet at Sywell in the Avaitor pub/hotel on the aerodrome site,it starts at 20:00 the first Thursday of the month,it would be nice to have more motorcycle fans there,if your free come along we are a friendly lot,My bikes are a bit younger than yours but i like all ages. Simon
  6. I normally go onto the Vintage power wagons web site and see what other dodge wc have the same part and then if they match order that from a uk supplier,it worked fine with the two diff seals i needed as a lot of the axle/diff parts are the same.

Thanks for the info,our friends live in Dunedin we came over a couple of years ago and had a tour round and did lots of the touristy things.Managed to get to one car show and a Truimph motorbike weekend.I did meet a nice couple from New Zealand at last years War and Peace show who were over here buying military vehicles etc, they said there was a lot of owners/collectors over there,but due to the strength of your currency it was cheaper to buy in the USA and UK and ship home. Hi,welcome to the forum which part of Hobbit land are you from(i presume the south island as that was were it was filmed).We are planning to come over next february/march to see some friends is there any military based museums/ collections or events that you could recommend.We will be mainly in the south but might have time to go to the north island.Is there a New Zealand MVT. Thanks for that it has usaf on the door with the number below it, i didnot want to spend a lot of money on a green canvas to get told it was wrong and looked odd,i have seen the front canvas foe sale but not the rear deos anybody know where they are available.If anyone has a photo of a blue m37 that would be great. Hi am looking for advice/photo`s as i have a usaf dodge m37 1952 which is blue,i have never seen another blue one apart from one in the USA, deos anybody know if all the usaf one`s were blue and if they are what colour canvas did they have as my canvas(not original) is blue.I have been trying to get a new canvas but all the one`s available are green.deos anybody know if blue canvas are available and if so from where.Any help/advice/recommendations would be gratefully recieved.If you just want to chat about m37 that would be great also as they are a bit thin on the ground over here. I havenot been collecting for very long just the last couple of years(been going to shows for a lot longer),Started with an MT350(1993) then brought an xr 250(1997) from withams(finally on the road).Then went a bit mad"from the better half" and brought last year a Dodge M37 1952,which is great i can put the bike in the back and take them both to shows.   13. Just a quick hello for my sins i have a Harley mt350 on the road and all working,an Ex army Honda xr 250 all working but awaiting dvla papers,A Dodge m37 from 1952 all working and on the road. Simon
