  1. Evening if you have no joy there we have a local company that rebuilt my 24 volt starter the other year, unfortunately its in Leicester which is a way from you,if you need the details let me know. Simon
  2. Evening I am a bit confused about the last point that the Imps and the Mvt are as bad as each other as I have been attending the show for a while now and have always paid the £25 entry fee,as far as I understand being an MVT member did not get me into the show free.l have looked on the website and it doesn't say that being in the MVT will get me in free(or if it does I missed it). Simon
  3. Thats a great shame shame as we have been for the last few years and it`s a very good show and you get to see vehicles that don`t always come further south. Simon
  4. Just to add my bit, I go to the show to also meet old friends and hopefully make some new ones and to look at the vehicles that I will never be able to own and to pick up the odd essential bit and piece, as there are only two of us and one vehicle the extra £10 won`t be that bad but I will expect the showers and toilets to be all up and running in all the fields on the Friday before the show starts and not the middle of the week. I do sympathise with those with lots of vehicles and the rein actors as this will put there costs up. I also hope that this is not the start of yearly price increases but just a one off. It would of been more diplomatic if they had left things the same the first year that they are running the show and explained that from 2017 there would be an increase and why. Simon

  10. I haven't brought a 9x9 but did buy an American marine tent from them, when it arrived it was faulty with a few problems, i rang them and they agreed to pay the return postage and send out another tent once I returned it,they sent another tent out and included a cheque for the return postage,so I thought that was very fair as most people won't pay the return postage. Simon

  23. Afternoon i forgot there was also a good local museum not far from Arnheim which the quides spoke english amongst other languages and was virtually all WW2 including a plane outside, this was well worth a visit as they had 3 wellbikes and an original container(i like motorcycles)and other vehicles including some with tracks and lots of other stuff.please see link below. Arnhem War Museum 40-45 Kemperbergerweg 780, 6816 RX Arnhem TEL: +31(0)26 4420958 Web: http://www.arnhemsoorlogsmuseum.com/
  24. It was not that far away, it's at Vught which is just outside where the other guy lives(with the windmill),the camp is at one end of the street and the museum is slightly further up the road, the Genie museum is also on the same road, the camp museum is multi lingual but the camp itself only has an English pamphlet as they get hardly any English visitors. But its well worth a visit. The website is http://www.nmkampvught.nl/English The site is at Lunettenlaan 600,5263 NT Vught. Simon
  25. Evening the windmill in question is very nice we went to have a look at it,while we were out there we also went to the local concentration camp and museum, which was very sobering, I know its not WW2 but the local Genie(like our REME) museum was very interesting and the quides were very friendly and gave us a guided tour. Simon
