  11. Hiya forum, Just got hold of a very poorly Morris C8, don't know much about these vehicles but would like to convert it to a utility model as seen pics of a restored one in WW2 EOD livery on the net. Is there anyone in the Wiltshire area that has one of these vehicles so I could maybe visit and get a better understanding on this specific type of vehicle and how it should look restored. Thanks for your help. Danny
  12. I am trying to get some information on a Morris - Crane converted lorry from WW2. I am not in a position to get the information so any help anyone can add would be good. It is a earlier Morris C8. It was converted from a gun wagon to have a small crane known as a Hydrophone crane I believe. Someone informed me that these we converted to be used on D-Day 1944 on the Mulberry Harbour and UK ports? Is there any pictures around? The Chassis number I have been informed is T322, if this means anything? Thanks for your help. Cheers, Danny

  15. Hiya all, I am trying to locate pictures and historic info on the use of the (bigger) CAT digger's used on D-Day by British forces 1944. All to help towards a article I am looking at writing in the near future. Thanks, Danny

The chassis looks like a QLD or QLR but has the standard distrub in. Where would the other plates be? My other QL did not have any. Well its nice to know that she is late war. Thanks again. Danny
