  5. Not for me but a local military museum, they are trying to locate one of these flamethrowers or parts of. I would imagine they are very rare but thought I would ask the question. You never know someone might have one in their shed Thanks, Dan

  9. I am trying tp find a engineering company in the north of England that can machine and work brass well? The fuel filter I have requires rebuilding on the bottom half as it has completely corroded and the out casing needs to be re- made. I have the inner piece tho. Any advice? Thank
  10. If you can help please reply. I would certain not normally do this!!! Due to time constraints this year with work I am not going to have time to complete some work needed on my DAC chassis( Already shot blasted). Sadly the gentleman who I would trust and want to do this work is very busy so after someone with the same ability, consideration of the vehicle, and sensible costing to do the work. The job itself would have to put into two phase, please note there is no fast timeline for this work to be completed by. 1) March I can get the chassis delivered. weld cross member to chassis shim steering unit up fixed metal banding on rubber seal on wheel station weld and repair to cracks on chassis fit rear steering unit free handbrake button fit new rubber bump stops Phase 2 -Fit brake parts and wheel stations brought down refurb late this year. Fit new brake lines Brake unit COMPLETE, inc pedals, pipes, units refit and wheel stations. Refurbed Stud snapped on outer bevel unit If you can help I look forward to your reply.   11. Iain, They were part of the Falklands defences from WW2, they were left there by the Yorkshire Regiment and were bogged in, they are in a real remote part of the mountains. Thanks Danny
  12. Good day to you all, At the beginning of this year I was freezing my bits off down in the Falklands with work,whilst there I did some work with the defence force guys down there. One of its members was a keen military vehicle restorer and had some Argey captured vehicles and had also restored some pieces for the museum at Stanley.   17. Need to get a full set of dials including speedo for my DAC. I know Jaeger made these but was wondering what is the official name for the types of gauges needed to go in. It's so when I speak to the companies I can give them the correct info. Thanks, Danny
