  1. Lindsay Smith has asked me to contact you (I think) re the East Anglian Fighting Vehicle Group. If that doesn't make any sense then I've got the wrong Ian (!)

You can PM me in here or email me on eafvg@tiscali.co.uk

    Gareth

  2. You mean Manfred? I think his FleaBay name is Bluemann (or something similar) Yes: he's a helpful chap, and a good source of spares but he is a bit pricey (big fish in a small pond). There's a chap in Turkey called nos4jeeps who does Mog bits and pieces - he's very reasonable ;¬)
  3. I'll have to take your word on that one, Dave. I've not seen a baby Mog with a snow-blower before - I've only seen 'em "naked" and the windscreen has a different slope to it. That's why I guessed some of the other members on here didn't recognise it. Was the blower/cab an aftermarket kit perhaps? Gareth
  4. Now I'm replying to myself :shake: http://www.foodfight.org.uk/mogstock2009/index.shtml Mogstock number three! Trust me: if you've got an interest in Mogs and like to see grown men (and women) being incredibly silly - not to mention fire-poi, absinthe, chainsaws and giant camp-fires - then you need to come to Mogstock3
  5. FN is the manufacturer: Fabrique Nationale. They are based in Herstal (in Belgium) and were responsible for, amongst other things, the FAL and the MAG. Both were license-built in Britain, the FAL as the L1A1 (SLR) and the MAG (as previously mentioned) as the L7A2 (GPMG).
  6. Wow! They look like 404s; the one in the colour picture is a Doka (double cab) version, which is fairly unusual. What were they used for?
  7. It's got an unusual (home-made?) cab, which changes the outline quite a bit. Looks cute though
  8. You not talking to the girls then? Welcome, welcome and Halloo too!
  9. Says he in the Land Rover - ha ha! Welcome, Mike
  10. The resto is nearing completion! Latest photos here --> Heidi's Web With any luck, she'll be ready for Mogstock 2 in a couple of weeks
  11. Don't get one that was with the Marines. All that driving through the salty sea isn't good for a Rover chassis. (See - wasn't I a good boy? No mention of webbed-feet anywhere in that post)
  12. Can't help you with the gizmo: but welcome back :-D
  13. Seems fixed now  How was your trip to the Netherlands BTW?
  14. Talking of pictures: where's me bl**dy avatar gone then?
  15. We Want Pictures! We Want Pictures! ;¬)
  16. Not too sure if they'll be feeding us bacon next year though...
  17. Ooh - I'm excited now. Must get over to Duxford soon :-)
  18. Bl**dy 'ell mate - it's still January! Nice to see Heidi in that picture though ;-)
  19. Talking about Ursel? Quite a few Brits go over for this show, including us :-D so you'll be in good company mate.
  20. Luvverlee! really like the Butcher Bird - where were those pics taken? Looks a bit like Duxford but I didn't know they had a FW190 there.
  21. He he. You'd have to fight George for it. My money's on George...
  22. 10 sheep! Oops, sorry - wrong forum
  23. My imagination has just gone into overdrive, but I'm too frightened to ask...
