  1. Just LOVE those cute Tatras :drive: I've got an itchy wallet now though
  2. The only markings on the side were black squares, one on each door, similar to the one on the bonnet. As I said: the previous owner painted it and based his design on photos taken in Berlin. I'm not sure of the exact era of the photos, though. Happy Mogging! :-D
  3. OK, here is a photo of Moglet shortly after we adopted her. Painted by her previous owner based on photos of British Mogs in Berlin...
  4. My Belgian Unimog was painted in British colours (THE VIKINGS) when we first got her. There are some photos on http://heidilandrover.webeden.co.uk in the "Mog Photos" section. The previous owner based his paint-job on photos from a relative who drove Mogs in Germany, so it should be fairly accurate. I can probably dig-out some more photos of the Moglet in her previous colourscheme if you want and e-mail them to you. Gareth
  5. Perhaps you need one of these then http://www.kemcare.co.nz/ Welcome to the playpen, boi!
  6. Is this true with Land Rovers also?
  7. Well, perhaps it should be "Fixen" OK, I'll get me coat...
  8. Oh yes! Fantastic piece of kit. So shocking that the Canadians cancelled it
  9. To me, POA means "I'm a grumpy old b*stard and I don't like dealing with the public. P*ss off and spend your money elsewhere" Happy to oblige, so I am
  10. Ey oop chuck! :-D You're in my neck of the woods then. What bike(s) have you got? I got a military Guzzi plus 2 civvy bikes: Beemer and a Nonda.
  11. Good call! My number one is deffo the F104 Starfighter [various people know me by my nickname, which is Axel:)] Then some big bomber, in which I could wander around and occupy various stations - He177 would be exciting. A Lancaster or B17 would be nice though. Third choice? A super-sexy Hawker Sea Fury.
  12. Ha ha! If you look at my original comment you'll notice there's a smiley after it, which was meant to suggest the comment was tongue-in-cheek. If the jokey attitude didn't come across then it just goes to show the limitations of text communication. I'm guessing from your choice of smileys that you're not particularly happy about something.
  13. Howdy! Lorraine and I will be back at Beltring this year, along with some other EAFVG types. Meeting up with various Dutch, Belgian and German friends again :beer::beer: Bumping into HMVF members again, getting lost amongst the traders etc. etc. Welcome to the forum
  14. Why not scan it to here so we can have a gander then?
  15. Bikes need to be ridden. Use it more
  16. Welcome Kevin. I was at Waddo when the Vulcan flew again; in formation with that other Avro legend, the Lancaster. Great stuff
  17. Welcome aboard! Suggest you show us a piccy of said rusty Ferret and then we can all go "aah" and "ooh" etc. when you restore it Gareth
  18. You got a photo? I know the French had wine cans which looked like baby jerrycans, wasn't one of these was it?
  19. Yeah, but you're NOT going to win... I am
