  1. More vehicles: (Jeeps) Ehrrr... I only photographed one single Jeep! :-) Marty
  2. A few photos from the road run, or rather off road run.
  3. Meeting at Hoytorp Fort, Mysen Norway August 13-15 2010, located south of Oslo to guard against the swedes. Read more abouth the fort at http://www.forthoytorp.com/default.html I just dropped by for a couple of hours to shoot some photos, but was lucky enough to be invited to the road run with different puzzles along the track. Guessing the weight of ww2 weapons, caliber, shooting with airpistols and quiz. Something for the whole family. Very international this year with several swedish vehicles, but also a guy from England who'd really been travelling this summer. Marty
  4. I realize that I fell in love with Scotland last summer! :-) Marty
  5. Wow, great photos! i guess this is an event not to be missed! The 2 year old here just loves tanks, so this just might be next years destination. Marty

  8. Looks like a really nice place to have the meeting, with the old castle and a even a lake where you could play with the water hose. The british mvs really must have felt at home here. Thanks for posting! Marty
  9. Hmmmm, I didn't realize that the Germans had that many helicopters and that they actually used them as well. You learn something everyday. In the youtube video there's one that does a loop!? Is that right, I thought only the Lynx did that? Thanks for posting! Marty
  10. That's the Coyote TSV isn't it? The Jackals big brother! Marty
  11. I just got the latest issue of MMI, which featured just my kind of trip. In fact this was the reason I bought the Dodge in the first place. Unfortunately there's capitol punishment in Norway for going off-road. The article, about two Jeeps going into the scottish highlands, is simply the best article I've seen in months. A two day trip into the highlands, camping, off-roading and enjoying the scenery. They even pass a Bailey bridge on their way along Wade's road! :-) Beautiful photos by Wayne Mitchelson and words by John Carroll. You better check it out! I really hope I can go camping like that this summer, but my GF expects something to be done with the old kitchen... :-( Marty
  12. Nice! Unfortunately this doesn't help me at all! Now I want a RC plane more than ever! We'll see this weekend, I just might buy myself a little summer present! :-) Thanks anyway! marty
  13. It's about time to do some work again... The Jimmy has lost a lot of weight since last post! Marty
  14. Well, I do believe that I promised a few more photos... Marty
  15. I read that a total of 9,521 V1's were fired against Britain during the war and that it caused a 22,892 casualties. Marty
  16. You're right about the torpedoe! I will see if I can name the different guns later tonight. Have close up of the different guns. Marty
  17. To end this report, I'd like to recommend a visit here. Especially during the summer. You have to take a ferry from either Drøbak or Aker Brygge in Oslo. You can stay at the hotel on the island and there's also a Spa there. It's a great place to picnic, so bring the whole family. I'll do that this summer. The guides there are great and you can also visit the torpedo battery. Marty
  18. The commandants quarters. Other buildings. Marty
