He also sold a mate in Germany a Drops very well handled deal! Would rather deal with David than Withams any day!

Agreed did the same with my Leyland! David Crouch is very good to deal with!
  3. Ah ha! I saw some marks through those containers and wondered what they did there. I guess I know now! Cheers for the pictures John
  4. Could you not use later 1200+20 tyres of leyland dafs
  5. I know the staff there are worried about. So much more could be made of the barracks but as with most things money rules. Houses seem to be what might go in there.
  6. Plans afoot to close the historic Bastogne barracks. If you have not visited it is well worth it! I have visited 4 or 5 times and learn something new each time. Take the time to sign the petition below! https://www.change.org/p/mr-steven-vandeput-please-do-not-cose-the-army-base-at-bastogne-but-keep-it-as-wwii-battle-of-the-bulge-historical-remembrance-site?recruiter=20248122&utm_source=share_petition&utm_medium=facebook&utm_campaign=share_facebook_responsive&utm_term=mob-xs-share_petition-no_msg
  7. What like this one? Anyone know what the black box is below the stgo3 plate?

  10. Just a few pictures has sparked a great interest! It must be a real joy to see in service pictures of your own wagon especially in a combat area must be gold! Most vehicles just seem to be on exercise or in storage:laugh: Thanks again Guy You just need to dig out a few of my tracked rapier:cheesy: to make me really happy!
  11. Good work there John. Lots of heavy lifting there. Cant wait to see it done!
  12. Great photos and thanks for sharing them! Hopefully there are loads more waiting to be up loaded:cheesy: anything green will do!
  13. I think the hard top is a civi one! Early 90s had the vents but were phased out when they became defenders I think! The dash is a generic one for civi and military models.
  14. Yep great event! Shame we didn't have the time to go and see all the events in the area but really glad we made the effort to pop over! Anyone thinking of going to a Nuts event book a hotel early!!!:embarrassed:
  15. Hi Clive I have a Terrafirma compressor fidge and I regret not getting one sooner mine is a lot larger than the one your looking at but I run it off a normal 12v battery it stays cold has never run the battery flat even over a long weekend. Its quiet and keeps food and drink cold. Just my thoughts I have never measured how many amps it draws but the blurb says 2=3 amps! That's only when its chilling. They are well insulated and mine has a large fitted quilt! Tony
  16. Popped over for the Nuts weekend had a great time weather turned to snow and was very cold. This seemed quite fitting for the weekend. Lots of nice vehicles about spent most of our time in Bastogne barracks where the Nuts story came from!
  17. Phils show is ever other year! Its is a great show for Landy and military fans! Phil is a font of knowledge and seems to live and breathe Landrovers. This is great news for the collection and i'm sure it will benefit its future. Great news indeed.
  18. Great truck careful when you hit the wobble zone!! Careful with large breasted ladies as well:D
