Hi the generator with the radial engine fitted are you going to keep it or sell it after you remove the engine? as it would make a good set up for load testing the r975.

On the m10 wolverine as they call it, it says the engine is specific to the m10 I am sure the m4a2 used the same 6046 twin pack! Also says twin gm 6-71 mated on a common crankshaft not come across a 6046 with a common crankshaft yet! And also says the m10 has a specific transmission if they mean gear box I think not.

Hi what vehicle is the extinguisher going in as I have ones for Sherman m10 m36 these are around 15 to 19 lbs full weight depending on charge kiddie model 4t mine have been tested and re filled so are fully usable £500 each randolph laboratories also made fire extinguisher in ww2 for m10 Shermans etc very simler but a sloted Handle there model is ff4-h I also have some of them,all are war time dated. they do come up in various countries on eBay last one I was out bided at $355

Hi 34 volt is high do you need to top up the battery's that often presuming they are lead acid would have thought the dash volt meter would be in the red at that voltage

hi first one would be my choice out of the 3 it has outriggers and if Google is correct a Cromwell at 2.9 meters wide that would be useful, side shift ramps for the same reason and has a electric winch. from the pics I see no hydraulic connections on the trailer so if it is a electric hydraulic pump for ramps means no adding a pto wet pack to unit plus any unit can be used just need Anderson plugged lead and crocodile clips on other end. do not like tie downs on top of side channels tracks would be on top of some of them I would cut off needs a bit of work can see hub cover off on one axle. middle trailer has manual ramps only go to width of trailer [2.55 meters] will be a heavy trailer being a extender nice it has stgo rating think will need wet pack for winch. last one don't go there looks as though it is a converted step frame trailer will not be as strong on outer edges where tracks go as a proper step frame low loader. if buying trailer with out riggers ask if they have the wood that goes between them or might be metal.

At 2.9 meters wide you will not have to test the King trailer. A trailer with axles right at the back needs more space when cornering if you have a tight yard to get in and out of my not be ideal. un hooking unit and de folding neck is a pain compared to rear ramps and extra manitance but if cheap could put up with it!

I did think it would take a long time to drill holes in them just to mount them.

On the front Sherman on a fair few of the track pads there is 3 dimples 2 above 1 below the rectangle bent bar that is factory welded to the track pad face for grip.i have not seen this feature before and the tracks running on the road in picture non showing has this feature. Could this have some thing to do with how they are attached? the Sherman behind the strip of tracks on driver side has the dimples on every track face? The middle strip is mounted face to hull could this be so climbing up is better for the crew? Boots getting purchase on horn guides?

Hi does anyone on hear own a leyand hippo reg FFW 753X as I used to own it years ago when I was 17.i did 40 mile off road on the ridge way (good old days when you could drive big parts of it) I have pictures of it in my ownership and on the ridge way that I can forward to the current owner so can see what it was like 30 years ago it was then fitted with twin wheels not singles when I had it.

Rogers trailer at approximately £11.5k seamed ok tyres from pictures looked OK.

I to got v11 to day for my Harley WLA v11 says this vehicle needs appropriate mot test certificate so could not re tax on line my nil rate tax! Last year no problem on line v11 states historic vehicle I to will be calling Monday.

Spotted a low loader going anti clock wise between junction 22 to 21a on m25 at 17.25 wen 8th July with Sherman welded hull vvss no tracks fitted turret off hull but on the back of trailer 75mm Fitted in turret.

I bet the German military will not scrap that like they did to the poor churchills they sent to the scrapers and bet said musuem that took no interest in churchills would give a different response for that.

Hi I have had recently where the brass synchro ring and the cone on input shaft were not matched to each other and when bolted together would bind the input shaft so you could not turn by hand when not in gear.parts were from different suppliers, had to put in another suppliers synchro ring to stop binding.the id of the tapper on one was a few thou bigger so caused it to bind in the space it has to sit in with no gear leaver pressure.was given this box to look at the fault for a freind this is the second time I have come across this fault.non of the parts were nos as snap on say there is a difference .

Hi i use aroshell w100 The anti-wear additives makes the oil more slippery than regular single grades. This oil is approved for radials but is more pricey then a straight 50wt if you have a good r975 that does not use much oil I would use it but if it burns a fair bit of oil use the cheaper stuf.
