  1. A fairly narrow market to sell to then? Oh well, maybe someone will have an idea for them on a certain auction site. Many thanks for your information, I'd never have found out otherwise. What a resource this collective is!
  2. I certainly bought them as such, and the standard camo poles fit in there nicely. Its what vehicle they adorn I'm after. They don't hook over a Sankey tailer tub as the lip is too wide for it. (That was my original idea for them).
  3. Hi all, I bought these years ago for an idea that never came to fruition as camouflage net pole supports. Anyone know what they're for and want to make me an offer? I'd rather they found their proper place. i had the part number matched to NSN 2590-99-821-1320 title is "Socket", the part is obsolete. There are thoughts they may be for a Landrover 101 forward control? Paul.
  4. I feel sorry for you there Clive, we had the same thing a few years back in the Americas field with a 'break away' group of NLBA (allegedly, going on rumour). We left yesterday after an enjoyable time having taken my young family or the first time. I'd have been irate if they'd have been kept awake all night by excessive noise. Where were the marshalls and officials? At the party? Paul.
  5. M0JXN here, I haven't been active from home for a while but when out with the champ always bung a rig in. Have working C13/C42 station in the back of the champ although temporarily put the ws19 in on sideways mount for champ camp recently. I'll be active at Beltring next week! 3.615 A.M. should get a response if you're in the area.. Paul M0JXN
  6. Morning all, Nice to join you and trawl through all this useful info on here. As an introduction, my name is Paul and I own an Austin Champ. The MV hobby is a big part of life and coupled with radio, which fits in nicely, certainly fills any available gaps in the schedule. My champ has a full working Larkspur set up and being an amateur radio licence holder I can put this to full use showing exactly the kind of thing the Champ did in service. I hope to grab more information from you guys (and girls) and maybe even help out with some of my limited knowledge if needed.
