  1. I think the connector pinout has already been published on this thread? If not it's easy to find by Google. Andy
  2. Plugged in directly? I doubt that the VRM5080 is supplying power to the headset, which is probably the issue.
  3. Does the popping noise stop if you wear the headset?
  4. I think you'll find that they're identical - I'm surprised that the connector won't mate with the pressel. Andy
  5. That's a shame. If you want any more info on it I'd be inclined to try either the Bovington or REME libraries? Andy
  6. Thank you - could I please ask how much you want for it?
  7. Hi - do you still have this, out of interest? Andy
  8. When you say it's been impersonating a fish tank, are there actual signs of water damage? I'd be inclined to open it up and let it dry off. Andy
  9. I'm wondering how it managed to stay there so long with a live gun? Andy
  10. I don't use Facebook for anything other than some groups such as the RB44, Stolly and FV430 ones. It's annoying, but unfortunately that's where the groups are. Andy
  11. Have you tried the RB44 Facebook group? Yes, I know it's Facebook but sometimes you just have to grin and bear it ... Andy
  12. You need the manual those CB2 instructions came from: https://radionerds.com/images/4/40/UK-PRC320_Infantry_Signal_Training.pdf Andy
  13. Merlin agrees with you: "TRUCK GENERAL SERVICE 3/4T 4X4 TRACKER RADAR TOWING RAPIER ROVER", Date in Service 14/02/1984. Andy
  14. If this is one being asked about on Facebook (different poster but same question wording) it's 98KJ60 and Merlin gives an in-service date of 29/08/91. Andy
  15. At least they corrected the original statement that the Fraktur font was a Nazi favourite, when it was actually banned in 1941 for being too "Jewish". Andy
  16. Is this the one on Facebook with a VRN that shows it as registered in the 1990s? Andy
  17. $48k for an Abbot? Really? Might need to update the insurance value on mine! I'm also highly amused by "looks to be in an unmodified condition; exactly how it'd have been when in service" when half the breech ring has been cut off! Andy
  18. In another Forum for which I'm a moderator I would have locked this thread by now. It's just going round in circles and rapidly descending into name-calling. Andy
  19. My understanding, from nearly buying an ex Gulf War 1 Chieftain ARRV is that they were fitted with Red Top L60s, Mk.13 I think? Andy
  20. Seb - Do you have any information on the K60T? The only reference I've ever seen was in a document in the Tank Museum library that referred to a proposed pre-Bulldog upgrade for the FV432s. It would have had a K60T engine and a steering box that allowed neutral turns. Andy
  21. As said in the other thread, you need to upload the images as JPG, not HEIC. Andy
  22. You have uploaded the photos as HEIC rather than JPG, which means we can't see them on the site. I assume you're using an iPhone with default settings, which won't work here. Andy
  23. Beware both MOD Copyright and classification for anything vaguely recent. It's advisable to go through the MOD Freedom of Information process to make sure. Andy
  24. In my experience, AFV three pin power connectors are always Pin A 24V, Pin B 0V and Pin C N/C. Andy
