  1. Finaly, another couple of pics of the ex RAF matador you saw near the A96 CROC, it's near Fort George.
  2. Mext a couple of pice of my current matador as bought. This had been built as a mobile generator for the Royal Navy. Standard M A T body but with no seats or other fittings, and holes in the roof for the exhaust etc

Hi Folks, Heavy Ack Ack is no more, one result of the great crash is that my user name reverted back to my original one taken from the wartime publication about AA command. anyway,while your thinking about what to put on next Mike, here are a couple of pics of my old Matador before it was destroyed in the fire at Dalcrue, this had been converted to a recovery by L W Vass and used by Grahams of Paisley. I rebuilt it in the early 90s to an artillery tractor using the body from a Mk II millitant.
  4. Hi David, Good to see the progress, and at least I now know I was right in thinking the wood work on that cab wasn't any better than it was on mine! Keep all your measurements, I will likely need them as mine will have completely fallen to bits by the time I get round to it. Keep up the good work. Cheers John Webster
