Could any one help me identify this helmet?
Its different to the Brodie type I have seen before?
Has fixing in the very top of the dome, leather harness inside have had a good Google but can't see anything the same?
Leather is embossed 7 I assume the size?
1941 and B.H ? embossed on to the leather

Once I googled the brand ( Mine has no label) I did find a mention of people trying to pass them off as military but apparently they are not.

After months of research some one on here correctly identified my Mystery engine in 5 minutes so here goes.
Found this whilst clearing a deceased chaps garage, Looks Military to me but no makers marks, very well made real leather and fur very heavy, sadly I am too fat for it just wondered does any one recognise it?

You are right, the apparent spare follower positions are intriguing. To someone who knows what the engine is, they will be the main clue!
It is amazing what is about even 100 years later.
